The long awaited support scheme for renewable heat in Ireland is finally open for applications as of last month. This incentive scheme is aimed at non-domestic users and will allow biomass to play a major role in Ireland meeting its 2030 carbon emission reduction targets as well as providing a major boost to the Irish biomass sector.
